She received her Doctorate in Chemical and Energetic Technologies from the University of Trieste in 2007 with a Thesis on “Fictitious Domain Approach with Spectral Element Approximation”. After a few years as post-doctoral fellow in Fluid Machinery at the University of Trieste, she has been Quantitative Analyst Manager in modefinance srl, a company specialised in the financial consulting and companies’ creditworthiness evaluation, till 2012 when she got her current position.
Her research topics are:
- Fictitious domain method with spectral elements for the resolution of thermo-fluid dynamic problems;
- Polynomial chaos methodologies for the uncertainty quantification;
- Optimisation with uncertainties;
- Response surfaces;
- Time series;
- MCDM models.
She is the author of more than 30 scientific publications, most of them in international journals.
