Social Events

There are a number of social events planned each evening, most informal aimed at letting everyone meet, get to know each other, relax and enjoy the city.

Informal drinks for anyone in town, starting from 7.30 pm onwards. Drop by, meet people, say hi. The pub serves food till 9 pm if you also want dinner.

Celebratory drinks rights after the school at 6 pm, a 2 min walk from the univ. Dinner is open afterwards, you can get food there, or break off and try out any of the restaurants and bars in the downtown & Merchant City areas.

Fri 24 Nov: St Andrew’s Day Ceilidh

This is a public event open to anyone else interested and still in town. Should be a lively event, suggestion would be to buy tickets asap. Note that tickets are sold through Drygate, this event is not affiliated with the OTS. 

A ceiledh is a traditional Scottish (or Irish) social gathering that involves live Gaelic folk music and dancing. If you have a kilt, this is the time to wear it!
