HOW TO REACH THE DEPARTMENT OF AEROSPACE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF POLITECNICO DI MILANO
As you’re likely to land in Malpensa, Linate or Orio al Serio airport, you can plan how to reach Milan following these suggestions. Unfortunately there will be no Meet and Greet, but we’re sure that if you keep these instructions ready at hand it won’t be hard to reach us.

BOVISA CAMPUS
From the city centre, get to one of the following subway stops: Porta Venezia (M1, red line), Repubblica (M3, yellow line) or Garibaldi (M2, green line and M5, purple line), take one of the railways named “Passante ferroviario” at the underground platform 2 and get off at Bovisa or Villapizzone stop. Also, you can reach Cadorna subway stop (M1, red line and M2, green line), go to its railway station, take any train that leaves from there (except Malpensa Express) and get off at Bovisa stop. Once you get out of Bovisa railway station, turn right to reach the Via La Masa 34 Campus (main site of the Department); turn left to reach the Via Candiani 72 Campus (La.S.T. Laboratory).

There are a variety of hotels to choose from that are all reasonably close to the event. We recommend:

All EU / EEA nationals will only need to present an identification document to enter Italy, due to the common travel area of the Schengen Zone, part of which Italy is.
On the meantime, if you are a non-EU/EEA traveler wishing to visit Italy, San Marino or Vatican, you will need to present the following at the Italian port of entry, in order to be permitted to enter:
- A valid passport or travel document. Valid for at least three more months beyond their planned date of Exit from Schengen, and issued within the last 10 years.
- A visa – if you are subject to Italian visa regime.
