Submission deadline for extended abstract: 30 June 2020
Notification of acceptance: 17 Aug 2020
Submission deadline for final papers: 15 Sept 2020
All abstract and final papers submissions will be through the EasyChair platform. The conference is a multi-track format with four symposia. As such, every abstract submission will be asked to choose a single track to submit to. During the review process, the papers may be shifted between tracks by the program committee based on the applicability.
The conference template follows that of the joint conference BIOMA 2020, which uses the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) guidelines.
Authors’ guidelines are available through the Springer website, with manuscripts templates in LaTeX, LaTeX on Overleaf, and Microsoft Word. This template should be used for both the extended abstract and final papers.
Call for Papers
Extended abstracts should be between 3-5 pages in length, with a minimum of 1000 words.
The extended abstract, or draft paper, must include sufficient detail to demonstrate the purpose of the paper, the technical foundation for the topics to be discussed, any preliminary results to date, and the expected results.
UQOP welcomes papers on all aspects of optimisation and uncertainty quantification research, such as new algorithmic developments, high-impact applications, new research challenges, theoretical developments, implementation issues, and experimental studies.
There are four symposia within UQOP, each dedicated to an area of interest:
- Uncertainty Quantification, Identification and Calibration in Aerospace Models (UQ)
- Imprecise Probability, Theory and Application (IP)
- Robust and Reliability-Based Design Optimisation in Aerospace Engineering (RBDO)
- Applications of Uncertainty in Aerospace & Engineering (Eng)
Each symposium page contains a list of suggested topics, organisers, and more.
